Oklahoma Mugshot Removal Law Status
Oklahoma Senate Bill 379 proposed a mugshot-removal duty and a ban on removal fees, but it died in committee. Its proposed effective date never became law. No enacted Oklahoma mugshot-specific anti-pay-to-remove statute was verified as of the research date. A person should not be promised a state takedown right based on that failed bill.
The official SB 379 status records its legislative outcome. A proposal, introduced text, and effective-date clause have no force when the measure is not enacted.
Government photo access instead depends on the Open Records Act, specific exceptions, court orders, and custodian policy.
